The Discmania CD (Control Driver) Craze is an all purpose driver that has good range and good reliability in most wind conditions. It can be thrown to fly straight, soft hyzer, and long turnover. It's easy to throw, reliable, and versatile.  Similar to the Innova  Viking but with slightly more glide.

Let's start with the mold.  The craze has the same style top of the viking, pretty flat with a small dome.  The underside is like they took the mold and just shaved a layer off giving it a sharper edge and making the inside rim a little sharper too.  As for the throw I went to a field and threw my vikings (DX and champ) and my new craze (P-line 166). The 173 champ made it pretty straight and farther than the other vik's.  The craze made it about 5 feet further than my champ vike pretty consistently but they both ended up in roughly the same spot.  The craze is not nearly as straight as the viking, more high speed turn and fades further.  So in a nutshell from someone who throws vikings,  the craze is distance comparable to the viking but I wouldn't use it on the super narrow fairways or thread shots that I would trust the viking on. I tried sidearming it a few times with not so good results.  After all that though I still recommend it, it's fast and sails a long way.
